Is it okay for me to workout on my PERIOD?!? The answer is YES!
So what type of exercise should I be doing? The simplest answer to that is t do whatever workouts feel good. If you're craving easy, restorative movement, focus on low-intensity workouts like yoga, Pilates, stretching, and/or low impact exercises like in todays' workout!

In todays workout I will take you through 5 moves that can even be done from the comfort of your bed (if you don't have a firm bed, I would opt for the ground on this one)

These exercises will help you releive lower back pain, cramps and just generally make you feel better (dat endorphin rush doe!!).

i got scared at first cause im wearing pads and i saw a thumbnail thinking it won't be comfortable but it turned out that it was really good, relaxing workout and i didn't feel as uncomfortable as i thought i would. better than doing hiit while period. thank you for this workout<3

I'm disabled. I have to use a walker to get around... I'm trying to lose weight to reduce pressure, and therefore pain, in my joints. This workout was great- no moves I couldn't do, and I broke a sweat. Thank you!!

Day 2 of my period and I wasn’t too sure how comfortable I’d feel doing this workout as it had certain moves I would usually avoid. HOWEVER, this was awesome, I feel great and my back pain has reduced significantly. I didn’t want to just not do anything today so the fact I’ve managed to workout in this way, is great! I know this is from 2 years ago, but I just started my period today, and I am LOVING the mood and your attitude! It totally changed my mood from cranky and wanting to cry for no reason, to smiling and giggling at you as you talk us through this 💙💙💙💙 can't wait to add this to my regiment!!!!

that plank killed me!! i didnt realize how long it had been since i worked out until now. usually my movement comes in naturally: walking places, going places with friends, dancing, stretching, etc. i think im going to have to incorporate some of your workouts from here on out bc my core is obsessed!!

This was my first time working out during my cycle and I am so glad that I found this video! Not too hard but still got a great burn and sweat going. My lower back pain was gone after the first round! Will be continuing this workout all week! Thanks JO! Xoxo

I absolutely LOVED this! I just started your videos and my journey a few days ago and was super bummed when my period came today because I usually wouldn't do workouts while on it. I was scrolling through your old videos earlier and saw this and was SO excited that I wouldn't need to skip a week. I feel great and like I achieved something! My legs are burning, but NO cramps! Yay!!!
