Correction: It's not a traditional CVT but has planetary gears. Toyota calls it an e-CVT.

I bought one just over a month ago. Mine is a twin of yours, same trim and same color. I love the color, easy to pick out in a parking lot and it looks awesome in the sunlight and I was sick of black and grey cars. I agree with everything in your review, you just start it and it goes. Great mpg, easy to drive, I can haul things when I need. Could be a little quieter. But overall just solid

Leg room in the Corolla Cross is better than Rav 4 (for us taller folks). I was quite comfortable sitting in the Cross. The Rav would probably be uncomfortable on longer trips.

Have the regular gas awd cross, works just fine, great for daily use and some camping.

Rav 4 is now bigger than the pre 3rd row seats gen highlander. Corolla Cross is not that much smaller than that 1st gen highlander. Mpg obviously far better too.
Toyota has always shipped new cars with noisy tires.

Shame Toyota won't bring the Corolla station wagon hybrid to North America - the Cross seems like another SUV that will sell a ton but is just... tall for the sake of being tall.
