I ordered a Corolla Cross Atmos (top spec) hybrid 10 months ago. It has now been built and I am awaiting for it to be shipped to my home in Australia. Its a good car.

Magazine holder only behind the front passenger seat so that the driver can reach over and retrieve items/magazines easily. It would be pretty difficult for the driver to reach behind his own seat to retrieve items while driving but with the magazine holder behind the passenger seat, it would be more manageable although still not advisable to do while driving.

The previous 1.8 corolla cross was so underpowered and was almost the same price.

Okay, I've gone for it. Expensive it is, but screw it, I just made the order of a Pearl White Corolla Cross Hybrid from Borneo Motors! Test drove the car, the pickup is vastly superior to my current ride, the Mercedes W176 A180. Of all SUVs I've looked at, I feel this has the best balance of power, practically and efficiency. 196hp is nothing to sneeze at.

Thinking about upgrading to this SUV end of next year, High COE be damned. Kinda makes you think whether it's more worth it to shell out for CAT B instead of a CAT A vehicle which will be indeed the case.

Test drove this at Borneo Motors the past Sunday and like you, I love it. But pricey.
How do you compare this 2.0L model with the 1.8L one? By the specs, Bhp is vastly different with the 2.0L version much much MUCH more superior. That is good for filtering and overtaking. But at the cost of $20K more... dilemma...

I didn't even know there's a 2.0 Corolla Cross hybrid in Singapore. Here in Malaysia we are stuck with 1.8 hybrid which is underpowered for some spirited drives. The 1.8 petrol version has a more powerful acceleration than the hybrid here.

Looks like the steering is wrapped with faux leather. It started peeling about the 5 year mark with my friend's Toyota Harrier. Such cost saving is really uncalled for in my opinion.

Also, don't you find it weird, in a good way, that the Corolla Cross is faster in acceleration than the Camry despite less Horsepower and less powerful engine? I guess it makes sense since it is like 0.1 to 0.15 of a tonne lighter which is quite a lot.
