If someone truly wants you, they will show it through actions, how effective their communication is, their vibe, body language and how they treat you. If you have to constantly ask yourself if someone is into you or not, they act hot and cold towards you, then most likely, they're not!

We live in a culture of narcissism. Seems we all fall into some space of this human trait at any given time. Our culture has bred this in us, so it is not holy avoidable. It only varies in the degree. We have to have some narcissistic traits to survive since humans survive mainly by our wits.

Honestly narcissism is not something that should be normalized, you’d be surprised how moderate NPD symptoms can escalate once they get what they want. Also I’ve heard people with NPD have a somewhat negative history that involves manipulating the disabled. Just saying to anyone watch how people treat you, boundaries are important!!! Great informative video though!!!

For a second, I thought I might be a spiritual narcissist, but I def check myself probably more than others. I just think people suck and make excuses for being shitty instead of just... STOPPING being shitty. Since I make an effort to do the right thing, I rarely have to apologize, but I am the first to apologize when I do mess up. Since I have no problem apologizing, it pisses me off that so many people refuse to. Is there a difference between someone obsessed with self-analysis and a narcissist?

Well over time I believe that the benign narcissist can be a really fun person to be around as long as you put boundaries with them. I know someone who has some benign narcissist traits but he is really fun most of the time... Just don't make him upset and don't even dare share your vulnerability with him... as long as there are healthy distance we can hang out with this people

Yeah it's something to watch for. When you see it in your parents you watch for it in yourself, but sometimes just human impulse takes over. God what a mess.

This is interesting but I wonder if a benign narcissist scores the same in the DSM as a covert or malignant narcissist.

To me, benign narcissism describes a moment or moments of high narcissism in a person that is considered only mildly to non toxic most of the time...

...Or "benign narcissism", could be a byproduct experienced by a non-target of the narcissist. The NPC the narcissist doesn't abuse that much unless of course they become bestfriends in which case that's ya ass.

As far as I'm concerned they all benign until it's time and I'm actually fine with that.

They should just call it the "fairweather narcissist". Basically a somewhat charming zombie that can talk and manages its soul sucking diet by sucking souls that aren't yours until it more than likely sucks your soul eventually.

So my question is how do we get this in the DSM?

Young pharaoh is a perfect example of a spiritual narcissist. It is perfectly normal to adopt the name of an ancient Egyptian God in the name of art for art´s sake. But calling yourself ´Young pharaoh´, setting up a youtube channel to tell everyone how wrong they are and the whole wide world how wrong it is and how right you are, causes a problem. People see you as a big threat and eventually such a narcissist is easily spotted and exposed by narcissism critics and researchers. Young pharaoh would like to be your friend until you disagree with his followers. His poisonous relationship with others has destroyed his public image and is close to putting his channel to shame he himself has created. First of all the pharaohs of Egypt understood that we are all young once in a lifetime, we become teens once in a lifetime, we embrace the middle age once in a lifetime, and old age takes us to its arms once in a while if we are fortunate enough to go there. Like the ancient Egyptian Gods learned from humanity we need to accept our humanity and never let go of it and stop worshiping spiritual narcissist. Even Tutankhamon did not call himself ´Young pharaoh´. He saw himself as an inspiring person and wanted to represent his people, not his ego. Hope this comment helps. Thank you for your video!

Jesus is the only way any of us can be saved from our sinful self.

To be truly born again, placing your faith in the Lordship of Christ, and having His righteousness substitute for our sin, is the only path to salvation.
