However, the reason for back pain is oftentimes tight Quadratus lumborum (QL muscle), not only the hip flexor.

A symptom of a tight QL is a deep throbbing pain in the lower back.

Sometimes the pain might be stimulated by repetitive movements, such as running or cycling 🚴
