I'm a 2º year college and this is absolutely right guys. even if u pass a certain chair it's worthless if you don't have a perfect grade. the higher you have the better for your future. everyone inside your college are friends but at the end of the day, everyone is competing for a spot to work on an industry later, and the best will be chosen. so no matter what year you are, just try to be the BEST.

Hi Agnes!

Make an appointment with your school counselor tomorrow to ask about redoing any classes you may have a D or lower in. Your counselor can help you make a plan.

You can also start your first year or two in community college and get excellent grades and then transfer to a four year college. This is very common!

Don't worry. You can go to college. Just set it as your goal and NEVER give up! Susanna

I’m starting my junior year and I have a 2.87 I think freshmen and sophomore year I messed up a lot by not paying enough attention or doing work but this year I’m in two AP classes and I am planning on not being lazy is it possible to raise my GPA to around a 3.4 or 3.5 or is that not possible?

I have a 0.1 GPA, isn't the lower the score the better?

I know that this comment is slightly late however, in both freshman and sophomore year, I have finished school with either a 3.0 or above. However, this time around, (junior year) I have not really tried due to taking hard classes and got all B- and A's except one C which is pulling my GPA down to a 2.7 or below after midterms. Is there still a way to get above a 3.0 next semester and have a 3.0+ GPA at the end of the year? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I am about to end my freshman year with a 3.4 gpa (possibly a bit lower) and a 3.7 weighted gpa. Is this considered good? I take honors math and science and I go to school in upstate New York. I am very stressed because I feel that my dream schools won't even consider me because of my average. Any thoughts/advice?

I did pretty bad freshman and sophomore year. I'm a junior now and I have a 3 point GPA. I have a 2.7 accumulative and I'm in second quarter of junior year. Could i bring my accumulative up to at least a 3 point GPA?

In all seriousness, I'm a junior as of now with a 3.9 GPA, and I do ok on the newer SAT (Between 1100 and 1200). Scholarship wise, what are my chances of getting some scholarship aid for this?

One semester left for me to graduate and to earn my bachelor degree, I just realized that how important is the GPA..my gpa is under 3..but I really feel it's not fair for other to rate you just on it, for the fact I know I'm smarter than these stupid required course which only waste my time on homework that I'm not confused to do and really not helpful in my life. However, I'm very good with my core classes which is my real major about.

So the question is, which better, to hire skillful with low gpa or no skills with high gpa.
