I read once that really expensive universities tend to give higher grades more generously. It was unclear if grades were higher because the students were more serious about their grades and tried harder or if the fact that they pay a lot of money to be there payed any part in grade inflation. If you think about it, these schools should be harder based on their reputations, but the students are still getting higher grades than at public universities.

You should say what its out of cause stanfords gpa is not on a 4.0 scale gpa, cause that would make a 3.8 look way different at that school vs others

Grade inflation I guess. Below 3 was common when I was at Stanford and no one would have been weird about it. Now I think below 3.5 in unheard of.

After working in industry, college is overrated. A degree in poli. Sci. From Stanford is worth less than mech. Eng. From like ohio state
But i would say skip all college degree
