How to Pronounce Nguyen Correctly

In this video, I'll show you How to Pronounce Nguyễn. Before you can pronounce the word Nguyen, you must learn to pronounce each letter first.

So two of my teachers in school have this last name (I see it everywhere in Australia) and THANK YOU for this. It's hard to pronounce as an English speaking person but I THINK I've got it down, but I just kinda anglicised it anyway to "Noo-oy-en", which is an improvement from my previous pronunciation, "Nn-guy-en" so thank you! I'd love to visit Vietnam one day honestly :D

If it helps anyone, I romanicize the word Nguyen to Woo-in or Nuu-in. It makes it much easier to pronounce.

i still remember my viet friends having a disappointed and defeated face when I say nguyen as "nguh-yen"
