Welcome! Thank you for joining me for the 30 Days Of Yoga experience! Watch this video before you begin!

It includes helpful ideas and tips to support you on your journey! Today we begin with this video! Tomorrow - DAY 1 of YOGA.

As we transition into the New Year I already feel great about the idea of practicing for 30 days straight. I feel excited about challenging myself, connecting to myself, and learning something new. I am grateful that my body is able to move, that my breath is capable of deepening and I love that I will be doing it with so many others, around the globe.

The hardest part each day will likely be getting on the mat. Make time. Stay focused and choose to make the experience your own. This 30 Day practice is intended to support you in finding what feels good in the New Year. So, though it may be challenging to make time for your practice – just do it – knowing that it is okay to adapt, change, modify, rebel and do your own thang at any time.

But get on the mat.

Take conscious breaths and stretch each day as a way of connecting to your intentions, your big picture, and ultimately, complete wellness.

Why not? Let's reach for the stars!

FEEDBACK after 30 Days. I just finished 30 Days of Yoga (in about 50 days..) and I want to leave a Feedback for whomever stumbles upon this. I am a 24 year old male chemistry student, just for the record. I recommend to every human being to try out this set of yoga-videos, more so than any other yoga course, be it a group class or other youtube videos. Here's why:

Adriene's videos are an approach to modern yoga not as a universal, dogmatic and strictly defined practice, but rather a personal and individual one ("there are no rules"). Everyone is different and yoga is about creating awareness for what is going on in your body and mind, you have to develop (and you will) a feeling for what your body wants, a feeling for sore muscles and which positions relieve that soreness, a feeling for a stressed mind and how you can relieve that stress, calm down and recover your energy. Not only will you find the fitness and sport part of yoga but also the meditative aspects and the importance of mindfulness, in a simple, down-to-earth manner. This is a practical, straightforward and completely free set of videos that introduces you to what modern yoga can be all about, in my opinion.

Thank you, Adriene!

After finishing first 30 days of Yoga I came back here to share my own experience!
DO IT!
I loved it. I was never a "yogi" before this video and found most yoga classes to be boring or too demanding but Adriene really is something else.
My favorite moment in a day is coming home and rolling out my mat, my little practice-me time under her guidance!
It is so soothing, relaxing and simply wonderful.
I am far more flexible, stronger and relaxed than I was 30 (35) days ago. There were times when I skipped the day, gave 90 %, but I kept following this amazing routine and I did not regret it.
So if you are wondering, do I have time, can I do it, do I really need it, .. my answer is ROLL OUT YOUR MAT and just DO IT!
It feels amazing.
P.S. I am aware that it might seem as if I am overreacting but I really am not. This changed my life and I will do it again :D And Adriene, darling if you ever read this, THANK YOU!!! <3
Namaste

I finished Home series two days ago to help myself deal with the pandemic, uncertainty at work and with finishing my degree. Now I'm here with the commitment to finish all 6 series from Adriene. I'm amazed with how yoga impacted the way I operate on a daily basis. Those series are such a gift to the world.

I attempted this once before in 2016. I made it to about Day 11 before I became uninterested. 5 years later, 5 years older, and 5 years calmer, I am currently on day 26. Almost done. This series has allowed me 20-30 mins a day to do nothing but focus on myself. Some videos were harder than others, but ultimately, I grew stronger and more focused with each video. Thank you for a great entry into the world of yoga and good luck to all those starting! :)

So half a year ago, I started being unhappy about my body. I would say I wasn't fat, but I sure was a little a chubby. I hoped the puberty will repair it all, but then I decided to change. I started with pilates on YouTube and spent 5 months making myself do that two short intense videos for abs and legs. It worked. I would say I'm more toned now, but the stress of beginning school again and all that depression and sad thoughts I sometimes have, made me want to stop and just cry. I was too lazy to do that same boring exercise again and again and it somehow made me very annoyed. Few days ago I tried Yoga. I suddenly realised that for my calm, introvertal and very stressing self is the relaxing and slow Yoga MUCH better that the fast and intense workouts I've been doing. Doing Yoga is a while I have for myself, just me and the blanket. It made me be really looking towards exercising. I feel so better now! Thank you so much Adrienne ❤ Starting the Day 1 tommorrow!!!

I just finished this 30 day series, but I wanted to come back to this first video and leave this comment for anyone debating starting it. It's worth it. Do it.
I started this journey as a way to get some routine back in my life. Between the pandemic, moving to a new country, and entering a PhD program, there have been many stressful situations which leach virtually all motivation. Getting up every morning for a quick yoga session has improved my daily motivation and energy immensely! Also, before starting this practice, I was regularly having multi-day stressed-induced migraine/headaches (I know, it's a mouthful). I did have to take a few days off at the beginning of the 30 days due to such a multi-day migraine, but I jumped back into it and since then, the migraines that have appeared were less severe and were contained to a day. I attribute this to these daily yoga practices, loosening tight muscles, some toning, and mindful breathing. That's celebration worthy in itself!
Essentially, this yoga series has been monumental to getting me back in the swing of things mentally and physically. I am so grateful to Adriene for sharing her practice with us!

Just minutes ago I finished your 30 day challenge in 35 days. I have felt the empowerment from yoga that you talk about. This is my second yoga experience. My first was so intimidating, I quit after 2 classes because I felt so off balance and clumsy. A friend told me about you, so I tried yoga for a second chance. I can do it! You have given me the a positive experience, confidence, joy of movement, and the desire to make yoga a part of my every day. I love your easy going, joyful countenance. You make me smile each day. Thanks for sharing your gift with so many over the Internet. Namaste to you Adriene, and love to all who are on this path. (I'm 60 yet feel 10 years younger after this 30 days.) I'm moving now to your Yoga Camp. I'll let you know how that goes.

Did anybody else come here all the way from "Breath"? Ever since I did that first series, I've been working my way back through all of the 30-day series. Today is my 211th day of yoga and it's become a part of my life. Thanks so much, Adriene!

I'm currently in the middle of the current 30 day January series, which I'm loving. I plan to go back to the beginning, starting with this original 30 day series, through the rest of the year.

No public classes for awhile, my friends. As a nurse, I strongly advise not going to class right now. Adrienne has given us a precious gift.

Was doing this 30 day routine while trying to keep health while living in MOLD. Trying again now, 3 years later. Healthier, detoxed, and ready to try again.

I have done this 30-day challenge 4 times in the past 2 years, and I continue to love it, love the presentation, love the whole philosophy behind the FWFG community, and have declared Adrienne my personal guru. This series will change the way you think about yoga, yourself, and your connectedness on this big blue marble. I am taking this 30-day challenge again, in hopes to jumpstart, or catapult into a daily practice for the rest of my life.... Gratitude to Adrienne Mishler for her great work, and to you all for being you. ~ Zhem

A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Nothing worked for me, the medications had nasty side effects, going to the chiropractor hurt too much, etc. Frustrated, I stopped taking my medication and
I decided to try this 30 day yoga challenge. I’m a couple of weeks into it and I’m already feeling improvement! Im much happier, calm, and my pain has decreased significantly! The fatigue and brain fog is happening less often.
Thank you Adriene!
I can’t wait to see the my transformation.
