It is my understanding as I have read part of the Talmud, the Sabbath's day journey is a man-made pharisaic law. The Bible never mentions the distance of a Sabbath Day journey according to God.
According to the Traditions of the Pharisees, it is 2000 cubits. That would be 3333.3333 feet or 0.6313131 miles. A kilometer is 0.62137 miles.

So no, there is no Biblical definition of a Sabbath Day Journey. When the New Testament reference it, it is speaking of the Pharisee's definition just to give the reader an understanding of how far it was.
