Guy you NEVER know what will happen, when I discovered the sabbath 5 years ago I was about ready to quit my job, I was using sick time every saturday, but then miraculously there was a forced shift change on everyone in my position and they brought me paperwork with a list of shifts and I had to put my priority on every shift and so every shift that had Saturday I put as lowest priority and I ended up getting Saturdays off!

I have kept the Sabbath day for years and my life changed drastically. Ofcourse I have not been perfect and there have been some trials and errors (but grace) 🙌🏽 Both myself and my children fast on this day we fast from food and worldly distractions. We pray meditate on the word, talk about how God and our enemies are working in our lives. We pray for others we cry we laugh we Learn and we love I pray that this is a thing that they pass down to their children. I tell people that is what we do on saturdays and most do not understand but thats okay. I definitely notice the difference when I don't have my sabbath day, life always happens but I am different without it! I love the sabbath and am so thankful God made it for me and you! Yes Marc! You are so right! This happened to me. I own my own business as a cake maker. When I came to faith in January 2020 and I learnt about sabbath and stopped taking on orders (wedding cakes were the main issue) I cancelled my Saturday wedding cakes and stopped taking any for Saturdays. And the thought of wondering how I’d fill in the missing costs crossed my mind, but I then as soon as I stopped I started getting wedding cake orders for Sunday’s and Fridays and other days of the week that I never used to! 🙌🏻 it’s amazing how He works!
