Steve is the most personable teacher on the planet. A lot of instructors would say, "Just learn the damn thing and learn it right. Stop whining. Get it together." But Steve has a very personable, sensitive, and intelligent approach to teaching. He is a one of a kind instructor. He might have been Obi-Wan Kenobi in another lifetime.

These lessons on the Pentatonic Scales are good for everyone (in my opinion). There's only one person on this planet that they are detrimental to. That of course would be "The Wolfman." He's not going near anything with a pentagram on it.

Steve mentioned "Kind of" knowing something. As Steve said, if you only "kind of" know it, you don't really know it. So he's saying, you either know it or you don't. I guess it's like getting "kind of" pregnant. You really can't get "kind of" pregnant. You either are, or you are not. 🙂
