That explosion after they threw a grenade at her feet was rather rough looking. I had to go back and make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me.

No one talking about those water textures and the ripple effects? they look like something you would seen 15 years ago. The textures in general are as low res as you can get, look at those rock wall textures in the cave. There not just low res, you have obvious over lapping of polygons that looks terrible.

Having a speeder bike being loaded onto the ship is something Starfield should’ve had from the beginning.

I mean…open world in a desert means you’re gonna get a lot of empty space, which we also see in games like AC origins. I’m sure there will be some things to discover but at the end of the day, Tatooine is easily one of the most iconic planets in Star Wars so I see why they wanted to include it.

As for space feeling a little empty…well that kinda sounds like what space is. Kinda in the name, so the fact that space is spacious in this game seems just fine to me

Idk but I’m definitely looking forward to this game so I hope it doesn’t disappoint with the story and characters

That dropping of the exploding barrel was worse than you suggest - SHE was closer to the barrel than the NPC when it exploded, yet seemingly suffered no ill effects, in contrast to the NPC who dutifully expired as stated in his contract. Yeah; smoke, dust, particle effects, facial animations - it's looking a little clunky right now.

I’m happy that you can only use picked-up weapons until the ammo runs out, it makes the player have to be more tactical and makes sense why Kay ain’t running around with lots of weapons

Arent all planets in Star Wars like this. Hoth snow in every direction, Endor/Kasyhk junglenin every direction, Mustafar lava/desert in every direction, Coruscant city in every direction. Bit unfair to pick on Tattoine as the same boring environment everywhere

It looks decent, but I still wish they would have given us a character creator. Dont see this as a day one, but more like a 40$ in 6 months sort of thing.

Everyone assumes the lack of something, whether its gameplay, random world events, point of interest or whatever, means the game is bad.
Its a 10 minutes video with lots of jumps in the video. Maybe its to give you an idea of the game but not to give everything away.
I DONT need to see everything this game has to offer to make up my mind whether its worth playing or not.
Its an open world star ware game, it doesn't need to be 10/10 masterpiece. A good game is enough
