Best Exercise to Fix Neck Pain & Restore Neck Curve (Cervical Lordosis)

In this video, Dr. Jon Saunders (Newmarket Kinesiologist and Chiropractor) will show you the best neck exercise to fix a cervical neck curve, neck pain, neck stiffness, headaches, and even a pinched nerve at home!

Losing the normal lordosis in your neck, can add stress to the discs, ligaments, joint capsules, nerves, blood vessels, and even the spinal cord. This can be a cause of neck pain and many other problems coming from the neck.

The first part of the video with warm up the neck. This will be followed by 2 exercises that feel great and will help alleviate pain and start the process of correcting your neck curve (cervical lordosis).

Wow that perfect, I'm a guitar teacher (always hunched over) and my chiro I saw for 6 months taught me less in the entire time I was seeing him than this video did. I can feel it already working in one session!

I'm currently going to a chiro for neck traction sessions and re alignments which help, but in the interim doing these excercises give me relief and get rid of cervicogenic headaches and nerve pain 👍 thanks Doc!

Phew, I just did 12 reps of each and I feel so nice! My neck has been hurting due to this for almost 10 years--my bad posture finally caught up with me in the 1st year of uni and I've been in pain since. I went to a chiropractor who helped me to some degree and confirmed that my rib is dislocated and I have reverse neck curvature due to posture, but I still feel a good amount of pain some days. I'm gonna stick to this and look forward to feeling less pain x_x

oh i'm gonna start these. I've had cervicogenic headaches for the last 2 years..daily! I see a wonderful chiropractor but she hasn't shown me these. I have a few more pain free days but then all comes back. Gonna try these!! Oh i do have reversed cervical lordosis seen on a recent x ray.

You are my last hope to relieve me from constant pain 🙏🏼 but I have two questions
1. Is it really possible to restore some lordosis through exercise without retraction?
2. Should I pull all the time with the same force? Or just with extension part?
