Mustang Crank Re-Learn How-To

Needed to do a crank re learn on my 15 Mustang GT couldn't find a good video so I made one.

Hey for all of u who might been having problems that the SCT keep saying crank relearn failure y’all just need to keep the clutch press(manual only lol) so then you can go to the next step and go the require rpms that it says 😭 now just hope that the engine light doesn’t come up anymore 🤣

Thank you for this. I loaded my OZ tune on my 2014 5.0 f150 and I had this code and got scared and went to ford to get it off. Now I know the procedure I could have done in my X4! Going to retune this weekend!

SKIP TO 6:00 MINUTES.
For the 2010-2014 people: using ProCal tuner, start car & let it get to 158f or higher. Go into programming, profile learning, start, then hold throttle until it reaches 3k rpm, release when MIL goes off.

So I had my clutch replaced and never had error codes pop up 5000miles ago would it hurt if I relearn the crank anyways or could it causes issues ?

I have DTC code P0315 which I cannot clear. My engine seems to be misfiring slightly on cold starts. Should I still run the crank relearn? Mustang 2012 GT

So my car came with this scanner. It had a Paxton Novi 2200 installed along with a McLeod clutch.

Car gets code p0300. Claiming a misssifre. I. Personally can't feel any hesitation.

I have a 2017 fbo E just replaced the stock clutch hit the 500 mile break in point check engine light came out I have 4 codes cylinder 2 misfire and cylinder 6 misfire tuner suggest crank relearn..

I'm trying to do the HP tuners vcm and when I click on special functions it just pulls up a white screen but on the videos I watch it should crank relearn and kam is there a reason why it's not pulling up on that?

I have the Cobra jet manifold with the twin 65 mm throttle body I have a code p115e I've seen some vids say crank relearn should fix it can this be done for my mustang

Car runs great but once I come to a stop it has a surging idle. Can’t pinpoint issue cause no codes show. Def not taking it to ford cause they will only say “ there’s nothing wrong”

So I have a 2016, just added the ported intake manifold and 47lb injectors, added my tune from vmp and now I’m throwing a misfire code for cylinder 8… I noticed it said not to do if having a misfire but is this something that could be causing the misfire if I do the crank relearn? Please help
