Like ive said in the past the Ford performance 2016 catalog has tec tips that talks about PCM tuning
Funny how the factory spends millions of dollars on research dyno tuning
Then these tuners come along and claim they can make all kinds of power and make your engine run better
Why arent they advisers to the engineers at he factory
Granted the tuners may be writing outside of the emission limits but what are the truly maximum available power output that a 302 can make
Most tuners write their software for dyno performance and not real world driving conditions such as on a track
May be i am old school after spending more than 2/3 of my career at a dealership where I was one of the main dyno operators on a Taylor absorption type dyno
not a centrifugal weight type that gave a calculated power output
We could load a vehicle at wide open throttle then pull the engine down and hold it at peak hp output for as long as we wanted not a hit it for 10/15 seconds if that

That U0300 code
This code is set when there are incompatible software levels with in the PCM that control the ETC
Diagnostic Aids = verify the PCM is at latest calibration level

Did you by chance have a new clutch/flywheel/crankshaft rear oil seal installed whenever your transmission was replaced?
