Love the paper towel analogy.
I used to say to all my clients: look at how long it’s taken you to put this weight on. PATIENCE and consistency is your friend. Embrace the journey, it will come off so keep going. Ultimately it’s worth it.
On a side note THEE best thing I’ve ever done was a 6 days water fast. Nothing but water and Celtic sea salt. I did it for autophagy not weight loss. It totally cured me of my sugar cravings and is the ultimate detox/reset you can do for your body. My friend said your skin is so clear you look like you’re in 4K! I’m 58.

Thank you so much. I'm down 20 lbs since late Oct 2022, looking to do another 10. My strength is good, energy level feels good, and I have gotten rid of a lot of the lower belly fat which is promising, but the stubborn lower back fat is providing a great challenge. Thanks for adding more inspirational content. I’ve been on a cut for 11 weeks and have lost 11 pounds. I am 5 foot 8 140 pounds and still have a little bit of lower body fat. Thanks for the mention about patience and about diet breaks. I’m about ready to have some maintenance calorie days thrown into the mix!

I have just dropped 8 lbs in 2 days after taking a 2 week diet break. I hope this trend continues. Maybe not as fast but in that direction.

Hi Paul,
I’m (also) 6’3, down from 18% body fat at 206 pounds 2 months ago to 191 pounds at 10% body fat while maintaining decent muscle size.
As a (former) model, I’m 53 now and have enjoyed how amazing I’m feeling and looking, the human body is a beautiful thing…

Definitely needed to hear this, your right, there is a pattern, I usually give up and start eating crappy and laying off exercise every time I get to the love handles and lower belly🤦. Got to keep going!

I’ve dropped around 28lbs since the beginning of the year too. I’m also at that point where patience is more important than ever. I’m sticking to it and every few weeks I can see more leanness despite the scale weight not moving much.
