i really like imagery instructions, it works for me wonderfully so keep bringing instructional vids like that <3.

what i noticed that if i imagine I'm directing it only upwards, the first harmonic takes control and the overall voice has less force\becomes more quieter. if I'm directing it downwards and upwards i get the "open throat" sensation just like when I'm trying to imitate opera singers. it keeps the voice around the same volume but spreading the force across all overtones, but the voice color changes to a more deep, like it comes more from the back of the head, and in most music genres it doesn't really fits.

another thing, because this is not about mix voice but only for strain less, if someone can only belt, this tip will give him a bit more of high less strainfull notes, until he will hit the line when it need to flip to head, near this area the strain will come back, even if you try to stick with this intruction.

Thank you so much for those useful tips.
Btw I feel like doing something wrong bc the sound start to lose strength above Bb4. When I approach those notes, my voice seems to thin out and I can't bring the chestiness back even to the middle part of the range. Could you give me some advices?
Sr for my English.

Thanks Bro, I think this is some really good advice and it's just perfect for where I'm at in my singing journey!
I've been singing since june of last year and I started taking it more or less seriously around December. I started at a place where everybody always wanted me to stop singing and I've come to the place where I got my first compliment on my singing from another musician.

My next big step is to get more consistent with what I've got, because I am starting to be able to sound good sometimes, but I can't ever make it last an entire song - also I've basically stopped working on any other song than one I really like and I keep trying to improve on it, until I'm ok with how it sounds. I'm really looking forward to learning more about singing, it's such a rabbit hole that I've gotten myself into and it's pretty exciting to see the all the debates and disagreements. Can't wait to have my own opinion on some of these things and to be sure to tell what really truly helps me improve.

I feel however, that your advice really is one that I should incorporate. I felt a sort of resonance on the roof of my throat and back of my mouth and I really hope that's the sensation you wanted me to feel, but I think it sounds pretty good!

it upsets me the entire internet is full of videos talking about girls and tenors and forgetting sometimes the baritones and almost always the basses (And im a bass-baritone), i know its all about technique and i feel like we dont exist, especially in contemporary music, im doing lots of musicals and i got lucky with a range of 4 octaves but i still barely see anything about the lower registrations and it sucks :\
