The only problem is that as a teenager I'm self conscious so I don't like doing the exercises unless I'm home alone, or I go to the basement

Too be honest, people strain when singing high is because they want to sing high, and still want volume but in the wrong way

Adam, would you be able to address something for me? I've come to be convinced that jaw tension has been a big culprit for me. And I've been trying to figure out the best way to use my jaw with the least amount of tension. You said don't let your bottom jaw go forward. I've heard some speech therapists go even further and say you should actually bring your jaw down and back. But then I've heard chiropractors say it's better to bring your jaw down and forward, because going back puts too much pressure on things. What are your thoughts? Are the speech therapists right or the chiropractors?

It seems like the most prominent dilemma anyone who attempts to sing faces is self-consciousness. In fact, I’m sure that’s the case.

I can definitely feel like its already strained because it feels so much harder to let it out all of a sudden that never enough song surly damaged my vocals

I want to suggest a seligstes different Topic for the Corona-Time: how so you use your Voice when wearing a Mask or Sitting behind a Shield? What can you do wrong? What are the Most Common mistakes when wearing a Mask? What can you so differently? Ineed to wear the Mask for work (in retail) and I Noticed it's different from speaking without the Mask. My customers don't Hear me As good As without the Mask. I do your execises, try to accentuate my articulation and Speak more with my eyes. I try too See the fun in it, See the Mask As learning Tool: I can try lots of things with my Face, since a Part of it is completely covered. I think it' s a Topic we all want to Know about now, because lots of People Right there are working with Masks and Shields and wisch to connect better with their voices and maybe there is a fun way to get used to the Mask and use it As a learning device to get an Even. Better Voice. What are your thoughts and advices on this?
