'Testosterone is not the perfect test': IOC on boxer Khelif gender test controversy

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said the testosterone tests were not ‘perfect’ and demanded respect after the gender controversy over tests of Algerian boxer Imane Khelif.

The IOC has cleared the way for Khelif, as well as Taiwan's double world champion Lin Yu-ting, who lost her bronze medal at last year's World Championships after she failed to meet the criteria for the same reason, to compete at the Games.

You can ignore the truth, but you can’t ignore the effects of ignoring the truth.

Do a DNA test on Khelif! Then we can judge from there

What absurd cruelty. A person with the body of a man fighting a woman in an
allegedly 'fair' fight. And people watching her get beat up like crazy. Deep down Khelif must know she is a scammer.

How about a simple chromosome test. The IOC seems to be on top of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs, why not a simple XX or XY test?

The guy that appears here defending this atrocity is Marc Adams, former head of communications for the World Economic Forum... Now it all makes sense, right?

Stop spinning it spin doctors were bringing his XY chromosome to the debate not testosterone

The fact that Angela had to stop the fight within 30s out of fear for her health, reporting that the punch was the hardest she’d felt in 13 years of training should tell you everything…clearly not a fair fight

This is unjust. Gender should be the number one requirement for this category, second tests.

Chromosome test is the perfect test. Do one and publish the results.

The Olympics Committee itself confessed that Imane Khelif has a MALE LEVEL Testosterone level. So, regardless if she is biologically a woman with XX chromosomes, a high level to the point of a male level testosterone is AN ADVANTAGE.
You all do know that steroids is basically the hormones in your body right? If athletes taking steroids to gain advantage in a sporting competition is considered as cheating and breaking the rules. Shouldn't Imane Khelif be considered as having an obvious advantage against other female athletes regardless if Imane is a man or a woman.
If not then what is stopping other female athletes from introducing Testosterone ot it's derivates in their body too?
So either way, the Olympic Committee is wrong is allowing Imane to compete in women boxing with a known advantage.
