Thank you, a very comprehensive, inspiring and felt description of the film. I watched it twice in the cinema of the country where the film was made, where it is currently experiencing its second coming after the Golden Globe Awards after its first screening at the end of August, it seems. There is great euphoria in the country due to the success of Gints and the film, the film is a hot topic, therefore, from time to time I return to the film's visually most outstanding and strongest episodes - such as the bird's departure into the sky, the deer's run and the meditative, almost sacred circles, the appearance of the whale, which still speak emotionally, thinking about them and provoking many thoughts and interpretations about the cycle of life and meaning. Especially, reading reviews and ever-new theories about the characters, what they symbolize and their meaning here on YouTube and elsewhere. Beautiful! It is definitely not just an animation that you watch and forget, its characters live in you for a long time, provoking existential reflections and meditative feelings when watching it. Very, very beautiful almost mesmerizing and we are very proud of the work of our fellow Latvian!
As I read somewhere a thought expressed by a stranger - a film that is very human, despite the fact that thereis no human in it at all.

The animals _do_ speak, just not in words. Cat often meows most piteously, Dog barks, pants, and growls, Lemur chitters, Capybara gronks, and Secretary Bird screeks. They convey their emotions.

This is a great video to explain the ins and outs from Flow that other audiences may have missed out on. On the outside it may seem like an adventure amongst animals in a flooded world but underneath the surface you find all these symbolisms and nuances each animal brings.
