I read the comments below. let me gives you guys some pointers in OverClocking. 1. turn off any power saving options. you want your machine running at High Performance in power options. check your BIOS as well, somethings will have power saving options in there as well. 2. I recommend that before OverClocking you go to your game and LOWER all graphics as much as possible. The only thing i would increase to Medium would probably be texture quality. 3. Right-Click on desktop screen and open Graphic options. Make sure everything is running on Performance and have all Texture Filtering Enabled. Turn off Anti-Aliasing but keep CMAA Enabled. 4. When OverClocking Thermals are going to be an issue quickly so make sure you have plenty of cooling. If you do end up thermal throttling then getting better performance would be larger from getting a better cooler.
Optimizing Windows 10 would help a lot too. If the game is CPU intensive then you can right click on the games shortcut/file, go to Properties, Compatibility, Disable Full Screen Optimizations, have that box checked, click apply and done. Another thing i would do is changing priority of application. Open your game, then press the keys on keyboard CTRL+SHIFT+ESC which will open task manager. then you want to go to Details Tab, to find your game a lot easier click on Memory tab and make sure the arrow is pointing down. This will show the most ram used application on top which more than likely is your game. Click on your game then Right-Click it, Set priority, then go to High. it'll ask if you want to change priority say change. never do RealTime as Ive always experienced system instability with that one.

PLEASE READ MY COMMENT! Do not OVERVOLT your gpu as in this video! This does not add performance! I will explain why: the performance is calculated on how fast your gpu is (measured in MHz, same as RAM and CPU). An Intel HD 520 may clock up to 1050 MHz, with a voltage of, let's say, 1.2 Volt. During a game, the gpu can achieve 1050 MHz, at 1.2 Volt and a temperature of 75 Degree Celcius. As soon as you increase the voltage offset by 0.125, your gpu starts working at 1.2 + 0.125 = 1.325 V. So now, your gpu while gaming, will achieve 1050 MHz (this doesn't change because this is max defined by manufacturer), at 1.325 Volt and 85 Degree (because you increase the voltage and make it sweat more, but performing same task). You can only overclock a GPU if you can increase the max MHz amount. But such option is not available to Intel HD GPUs. What you can do, is DOWNVOLT your GPU. This will make the gpu work cooler, while keeping the same speed (MHz). Start with a voltage offset of -0.060 and then gradually add -0.020 (-0.080, -0.100, -0.120 ...) Until your pc freezes. Try to find the most stable voltage for benchmarks. Otherwise, watch a video on downvolting the cpu and understand what you are achieving by doing this.

Why are you telling people to overvolt their GPUS instead of overclock? U just making their laptops get even toastier than they are for no reason. No hate but kinda useless video tbh

Are you actually overclocking or just passing current to burn it?

Haha it works man! Mine intel hd 520 was 450mhz core clock and had 21fps in cinebench...i changed the voltages to 365 and graphic offset to 520..now i have 38fps on cinebench..temps with 450mhz where 51/55 degrees..now it is 61/65 degrees..still very good oh and its an i3-6006u
