the most amazing part is that they managed to run Windows 7 on the latest gen Intel

With this overclock we should be able to run gta 6 at a stable 20fps

1.85v geezus. That would fry an aircooled CPU in seconds. But damn 9.1ghz, never thought I'd see a 9ghz plus being a thing. Props to you madlads.

Ok back in 2004 they over clocked a Pentium 4 to 4ghz, now in 2035 we should have cpu with base clock of 9ghz

Looks like ASUS doesn't have to search anymore, because these guys have found "incredible" 😂

When you think about it, these guys are the pioneers for future technology, testing limits to see how far we can go would be so much fun.

I'm so glad I know enough about PCs to understand what a truly ridiculous number 1.85v is.

Nice of Intel to show internal footage of them testing the new microcode update 👍

I remember reading that 600 MHz was unattainable with air cooling, and would require more than water. 600 MHz. How far we've come! Thank you Elmore and ASUS!

This is ridiculous and absolutely not necessary... I love it!!

But then, in a dark corner, the 10 Ghz FX laughed softly

0:24 The sad thing is that this thermal paste probably impacted their results. The triangle most definitely created an air bubble in the middle of the processor, which reduces efficiency. In a normal computer it wouldn’t be a big deal, but in this scenario, every detail is important
