After failing multiple times, I had a real motivator (baby on the way) to finally learn to speak my wife’s native tongue, Spanish.

In this video, I break down exactly how I went from basic to fluent in around 32 days, I even include my progress and some videos of me speaking to native speakers. I did a ton of research before starting to figure out exactly how I needed to learn including some tips and exercises that anyone interested can use to learn Spanish.

I want to mention that it is impossible to learn a language in just 30 days from zero.
But if your level is a2 b1 you could get fluent in 2 or 3 months!

Hello everyone! I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia as well and I'm so excited to see how many people want to learn my main language it's crazyyy.
An advice I could give you is don't give up I know learning a new language is hard (I know thanks english :P) but the most important thing is the discipline and make mistakes don't worry about that a lot of people like I like seeing someone learning our language.
I hope this comment and video encourage you, I know you can be fluently If you really want to.
Have a good day/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are :)

Shouts out for the dedicated schedule time for “crying”… which is something every language learner can relate to 😅! I’ve been self studying Russian for close to 5 years and I plan to attempt Spanish next, since my fam is from Panama 🇵🇦 . Thanks for sharing your journey 🙌🏾

This was a great watch! I just dropped a video on how I learned in 6 months and one takeaway from that process was that I could have expedited my learning significantly. This video actually illustrates extremely well how to learn effectively in an expedited fashion. As a side note I freakin’ love the story telling and the way the video was shot / edited. Can’t believe I’m this late to this channel. Felicitaciones y bienvenido al club de gringos que por fin pueden hablar Español.

Contextual learning I think is awesome, difficult to construct by yourself, but great to mix and match phrases you will use often in multiple different conditions, especially with words connected by meaning or titles.

Though a huge one is also your confidence, even if you’re embarrassed you talk to everyone its incredible

First, congrats on becoming a dad! 😎The video is very informative would love to do this for German, which I studied in highschool and I worked in Germany for a while but all my colleagues spoke English. Still, I can understand German quite well due to exposure and it’s quite similar to my native language Dutch. But it’s so hard to form my own sentences because I barely have any experience speaking it.
