Was thinking of buying hero 6 for my vacay somewhere at Asia. Im not a blogger but I sure am addicted taking videos of my adventures. Ive been researching and reading reviews of hero 6 for like a month bec I don’t want to just buy without doing research lmao this video helps a lot with my sleepless nights thank you so much!

This is why I ignored the GoPro's and went with Garmin Virb Ultra 30. It has its issues still, but I dig it, even though accessories are hard to come by.

I agree. The video noise in SEMI-low light conditions is appalling on my Hero 6

I beef with the GoPro Hero 6 is not camera performance but the pairing connection with the phone app which occasionally disconnects & is a big hassel to re-establish again, I agree the people at GoPro needs to release a major update to rectify these issues.

I block the noise by reducing max iso to 400. (There is an iso max setting under pro tune)

Did you get choppy/laggy videos? I get them all the time when I switch to 2.7k, 4k or 1440. How can I fix this?

Great review bro...I feel your pain. I've had a battle with GoPro fo the last year. I gave up. you can check out my vlog episodes I made documenting my experience. I HATE and LOEV GoPro but most day's I lean more towards HATE. May the Force be with you!!!

Auto rotation doesn’t work and my videos are being recorded upside down, 4K recording is very grainy, YouTube doesn’t even support anything over 60fps.

That audio dongle is probably the biggest blunder GoPro ever committed. You have to carry a roll of duct tape, a bunch of zip ties or some Velcro with you to use the damn thing. I can't imagine what they were thinking. Obviously the same guys who wrote the specs for the camera and designed the camera didn't design this thing. I think they farmed this project out to a grammar school for design.

Perfect review. I've had this camera since launch and you got it spot on. Great video, amazing stabilisation, bad low light, questionable audio. There are also some other glitches happening but hoping most will be fixed in the November firmware update.
