another food for snacking: beef jerky. i never realized, it has about ten grams of protein per serving and each serving is 70-90 cals. a great, protein-rich snack.

Great advice as always Alex.
If I lose motivation to track I try to stick to my three meals per day and one snack while cutting. Otherwise don't sweat one day off, try not to go crazy and get back to it the next day 💪

In the beginning, it's good to track your calories since you don't have a good feel for when you're hungry and when you're full. Once you understand your hunger cues, you can stop tracking and follow what your body is telling you, when to stop eating, when to drink some water, etc.

I "more or less" eat the same things, or variations of the same main ingredients, so I basically started counting calories for like 3 or 4 weeks, took some notes and then kept tracking them approximately for what I learnt when I counted them. probably some days I would go over 100, or 100 less, but overall it worked pretty well

Tip #1: Switch those sugary drinks to water or carbonated water, if you like it sweet use stevia.

Tip #2: Exercise for 30 minutes in the morning. After exercise, force yourself to wait 30 more minutes before breakfast. Drink water if you need. Before dinner, either walk 5 km, jog in a field for 45 minutes, or workout in a gym if you do workout. You can also do cardio for 1 hour.
After your exercise, wait for 30 minutes before having dinner, drink water if you need.

Tip #3: If you snack, recommended is to snack on a protein bar, yogurt, or some fruits such as mangoes, apples or tomatoes.

Tip #4: Every hour, drink 125 ml of water.

Don’t drink nothing but water.
Have down for years.
Use to lift weights every two days then started to do it every day for a few months.

Never got stronger (I was using the same weight all the time.), never got more stamina, never lost fat.

And for the past 2 weeks I have been feeling tired constantly, and I’m hardly lifting, my diet hasn’t changed.
I donno where my energy has gotten too?
And why I didn’t lose weight or gain muscle?

Wow, I didn't think of meal frequency, this has been my problem cos I try to eat twice a day, if i over indulge, I won't eat the rest of the day.

You need to track calories and protein take for 1-2 weeks and everytime you want to change your meal plan. After 1-2 weeks you can track calories from your head whitout any problems. Thats the best way

Thanks for this. I lost my first 7kgs without tracking calories by not eating junk food or drinking sugary drinks and eating more protein and fiber. But into my weight loss journey, I was told that the only way to be in a calorie deficit is to count calories, which I started doing and it only lasted for two weeks lol. Idk what is wrong with me but counting calories made me feel so stressed and anxious? I started counting every single cal i ate and I felt like crap. During those two weeks, I lost like 0.5kg and I wasn't getting enough sleep and was feeling so tired. Then I found out that you can be in a calorie deficit without counting calories lol (I knew nothing about weight loss at first) so I'm just going to continue doing this.

#6 If your new. TRACK your calories because you dont have any clue how much your actually eating in a day. Many think there eating healthy and very little but are really 500+ over there calorie limits.

I started doing this I am wanting to join the gym but not sure so I'm trying to doing some walking I've been wanting to lose weight so hopefully I am to!
