Make a video about defensive tactics in Muay Thai

Loma's lateral & circular movement and diamond step combined with constant light pressure punches is something I've been emulating recently. People either overreact or under react. As long as my cardio is up, I control the pace of the fight, especially with impatient opponents who are prone to get irritated. It takes a lot of personal discipline and patience, but it can set up some amazing offensive sequences. "Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat" -- Sun Tzu

Though this isnt new information to me(my style, in Muay thai, is pressure based, moving into boxing range to land my hooks and also leg kicks, keeping a high tight guard at all times and extra wary inside, looking for openings, not giving any myself) but this is a good video for people nonetheless. I could have used this when I was at the 6 month to a year mark, when i was still figuring out which tactics and strategies and what style worked best for me. I've been training 2 years and 1 month(almost 2) in muay thai, now! And jiu jitsu before that, though I greatly prefer muay thai, esp the sparring(we spar every class, multiple rounds of course). You know, your channel helped get me into martial arts Shane. I thank you for that. Its a gift, truly it is. Makes you have confidence, self respect, and belief. I recommend it to everyone I can...if even one person joins cause they saw my post or talked to me in person, I consider the effort worth it. I think alotta people were in a dark place before joining a fight gym and it helps them through it.

love to ya much thanks. My coaches called this "jamming" and said that was my natural style. I don't worry much about being hit One coach was boxing me in the yard and he was backing away trying to hit me, he did but not very hard. I backed him up a hundred fifty feet.LOLI said "my god man what life you have had, I have ran for my life fought for my life but never fought for my life while I was backing away as fast as I could, " coach said "I was a step child." Now he is gone many years and I sit here and watch this video.I am adding this pressure fighting style to my arsenal.I see a guy in a street fight with nicotine stains on his fingers, I just pressure fight him don't get in range, don't jam, all low risk, while he has some wind left.then wham the worst most dreaded marshal arts move on earth. I talk the leg off.I get a good painful low damage joint lock, and it is not. "hey quite hitting your woman", nope it is " are you aware of the social ramifactions of domestique violence...."

What if you are a shorter fighter and want to apply pressure. You are mostly in your opponents range and they can attack you. How do you apply pressure on the inside without getting hit back?
