Free market never existed, all developed nations used protectionism to develop their own industries, but they tell third world countries free market is the way when they do the opposite.

This is atrocious, I've never been so angry, such a backwards horrible policy. They turn off comments on other platforms because they know how outrageous this policy is. Why do Americans let this happen?

A few years ago, when Tesla wanna enter the Chinese market. China has a few options, one is to stop it by raising tariffs, and the second option is to ask it to form a new company with a 50 % share owned by a Chinese company. However, China goes with one that fully opens the market to Tesla, lets it own 100% share, and even subsidizes its running cost. Yes, many Chinese EV companies died after Tesla joined the game, but it does make the ones survive strong. Today, the US can easily put tariffs on Chinese EVs, however, it means the American EV makers won't improve. Later, the US will have to face a tougher decision of raising tariffs on the EU, Japan, and other friends.

Great! I now place an order for Xiaomi su7 car and have to wait in line to get the car next year, and overcapacity is all a lie of politicians. Americans don't grab quality cars from me

I was lied to, I thought America is the beacon of American capitalism and free market. But since they are now losing, the real face of America was shown and its just utterly hypocritical of them to tell poor countries they should adapt free market but doing the opposite on their economy.
