China warns US against imposing its democratic ideals after Biden's '100 days' speech

China has warned the US against imposing its democratic ideals on other countries, saying that such a move will only create divisions and undermine stability. The remarks follow President Joe Biden's address to Congress, marking his 100 days in office. He told the joint session that the US is in competition with China to win the 21st century. Mr Biden's tough stance on China has been there since his first day in office.
