As a bloke I'm totally for more female STEM inspiration! But let's not forget that female STEM applications aren't the only ones that need boosting. The amount of STEM degrees being issued is stagnating across the board, particularly here in the UK. We need to change the way we teach science to make it more interesting and inspiring for all, and invest in more long term science projects (space exploration, marine biology, environmental science etc) for this reason alone.
