Oh I NEEDED this one. I have a quote on my giant chalkboard wall in my kitchen that says "Don't make yourself small to make others comfortable".

The biggest thing is to not care about what other people think about you. Confidence is everything, working on mine.

I already know this is an interview I am going to have to rewatch over and over to get the full essence. There are layers to all of this.

My favorite quote: “It is ok to be a masterpiece AND a work in progress at the same time”. Thanks for this video. I’ve already given it to my 15 yo daughter for homework from mom. 💋❤️🌹

“I kept running around it in large or small circles, always looking for someone or something able to convince me of my Belovedness. Self-rejection is the greatest enemy of the spiritual life because it contradicts the sacred voice that calls us the "Beloved".

Confidence is a state of mind. Positive thinking, practice, training, knowledge and talking to other people are all useful ways to help improve or boost your confidence levels.

I am still dealing with all the insults, from Narcissists in my life, I do take life punches, with composure, but dealing with rejection, from others, is deeply rooted,

I believe our daily vocabulary is soooo important too. Weak and negative words have a weak and negative impact on our self image and mood. Powerful and confident words have a positive impact on our self image and mood.

I LOVE THIS!!! I was laying down having a major pity party and she says, "girl this shits hard, but I Love whats on the other side so get up... " I swear it was as if the suppressed part of who I really am was screaming from deep within me, thrilled that it had a voice! I do have a goal and yea, odds are insanely against me but I also know that I can accomplish it. Thank you for this road map and awaking the f... out of me.

I do love myself and at the moment I'm dealing with a toxic work environment.I'm not ready to be fired for speaking truth, so I have to find a way to keep the job because I need it at this time, but tell it like it is and create a healthier workplace.I know I can't change anyone else.I can only count on God to carry me through each day and show me a way to deal with constant disrespect.

People, please stop IDOL worshiping and listen to empowering women like this! Self work is not easy, but SO needed NOW! Emotional intelligence, confidence and self love will attract those who are like minded. Additionally, having differences of opinion is normal. Communicating effectively, respectfully and really listening changed my life. 4 yrs of counseling helped. 🤣🤣🥂

This was my FAVORITE episode of Women of Impact so far. It speaks so much to where I am in my journey and has so many nuggets for how to continue on the path! queen. How do I become a part of this bad ass non-toxic tribe of women!?

I want Roxy as my coach due to struggling with self rejection/deceiving myself, neglecting self care at times, and dealing with people who talks back at me, and corrects me. When they’re the ones needs to be educated it’s okay to not be perfect. Because I learned I am resilient and learn from my mistakes. You will never grow as person if you keep on correcting other people.
