👉 Learn how to determine whether a function is continuos or not. A function is said to be continous if two conditions are met. They are: the limit of the function exist and that the value of the function at the point of continuity is defined and is equal to the limit of the function. Otherwise the function is discontinuos.
To find the value that makes a function continous we evaluate the right limit, the left limit and the value of the function at the point of discontinuity and then equate the values. We then solve any resulting equation to obtain the desired value that makes the function continuos.
