EPA & DHA are essential Omega-3 fatty acids, meaning that our body can not make them, we must each foods rich in them. Supplements have been shown more than once to not really help at all. Plant foods rich in ALA are very poorly converted to EPA & DHA, and thus don't help much either. The essential Omega-3 fatty acids I talk about in this video are. EPA = eicosapentaenoic acid, and DHA = Docosahexaenoic Acid.
The other fatty acid I talk about is ALA = alpha-linolenic acid.

I sit down with my tin of sardines and low an behold Dr. B has a new video. After being on methotrexate for years for my RA, adding a tin of sardines a day began reducing my inflammation. A move to carnivore dropped my inflammation so quickly that I was off my methotrexate in 2 weeks. It's been over a year with no medication and no symptoms or flares.

Dr Berry forgot to mention that DHA is concentrated most in the human body in the eye, brain, and heart.
He also eluded to fish oil capsules not being as effective as we once thought they were. That’s because during the manufacturing process, the majority of DHA and EPA are molecularly changed to what’s referred to as the SN1 or SN3 position, which the body has a harder time absorbing and utilizing. It needs the DHA to be in the SN2 position. Eating seafood allows us to absorb DHA/EPA in the SN2 position. Can’t get SN2 omega 3s from plants either as they are inherently in the SN1 & SN3 positions. This is important because that DHA being in the SN2 position affords efficient operation of neurological function, especially when transmitting light information to the SCN in the hypothalamus (master clock of the body that signals the body for release of hormones as part of the circadian rhythm). If the SCN is off, chronic illness/disease tends to follow

You can make ( BAGNA CALDA ) it consists of olive oil or butter with minced garlic and anchovies. Just warm it up in a crockpot. You could even throw some shrimp in it. But you can scoop it out with cabbage leaves or things like that. It’s very flavorful and rich my dad used to pour them into a pie plate put it in the refrigerator and let it cool and thick it up and then when he wanted some. He just slice a piece of the pie and heated in the microwave. I find it delicious.

I just ate sardines for the first time ever. I bought the can a while back but I've been too skeptical to try them. You convinced me to try them today. They are actually good!

Large amounts (4-6, 000MG) of natural omega 3 sources (eggs, flax/chia/hemp seeds, fish, walnuts etc.) cured my anxiety and depression. Completely gone in about 3 weeks. 🥳 It truly is brain food. 🧠 I sleep better and my racing mind is gone.

I just ended my 3 day sardine fast about a week after my 3 day water fast. It's amazing ! I don't dare eat seed oils so I put my 2 tablespoons of homemade avicodo mayo, 3 tablespoons MCT oil, 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons fermented sauerkraut mix it with 3 tins of sardines just like I make my tuna salad minus the eggs, and its actually very good, so only the sardines condiments and water, that amount kept me satisfied with 3 meals a day, and I was never hungry, all cravings went away, this is the first time for me ever eating sardines, and I'm keeping them in my diet daily, I wouldn't think twice about doing this again.

I was starting to eat a couple cans of sardines a week in mustard sauce but I just got some cod liver delivered today that I was going to mix with my burger meat. I took a sample taste b4 mixing and it was so smooth I finished the whole can and made my burger without it. Cod liver is amazing. I will keep this in my diet for a very long time.

Sardines are available in olive oil. Put can of sardines in a bowl. Squeeze in a lemon or lime. Add half a finely chopped onion. Mash it with a fork. (Optionally add some Kaitaia Fire - a flavoursome chiili sauce). Delish.
