Your Bible reviews have helped me a great deal to choose an English bible (I already have one in Spanish).
I really appreciate your thorough description. Thanks a lot for your work.

I find this very cool. I became a Christian July 29, 2022. I’m interested in getting a phD in Christian Theology. I heard of the term Dead Sea Scroll but never knew what it actually was. This is so cool. A nice piece to own. I could make a mini bible-library 📚. I want to get this and a Hebrew-English translation bible too! Thanks for sharing 🙏

The more that I learn of the Septuagint, the more that I suspect that veneration on the part of Protestants and Roman Catholics of the Masoretic text is quite largely missplaced. It looks like the truth is closer to how the Eastern Orthodox regard the matter, with priority going to the Septuagint.

I like your videos, since I translated the Septuagint from English into Portuguese. Your format is very interesting and easy to follow. Keep up the good work. God bless.

May I print out your notes on the Septuagint? I'd like to have it in a binding for quick reference. Perhaps to show to friends who aren't convinced of the Septuagint.

Thank you for the review of this Bible! A few days ago I clicked on the link to the geocities site in the description. My firewall told me that the site was infected with a virus. It occurred to me that I should probably let you know.

Exodus 12:40 should be updated for this bible to include "and canaan" in reference to the 430 years. Scholarship has not found the connection but I have, and that makes it a fourth witness with the LXX, Josephus, and the SP.

Wish I knew who to contact to show them the proof regarding the manuscript.

Thank you for the video! I've had a keen interest in the DSS for many years. A point I want to make however is that it's hard to hear your voice unless I am right next to my speakers which are turned up all the way. You speak in a very airy, light, breathy, soft-tone that makes it hard to hear your voice unless I have my speakers all the way turned up and sit near them. You might work on "Projecting" your voice a bit more as if you are addressing an audience!

"A relatively short review" ....In Jones time that's just under 30 minutes 😂 😉
Thats a very unique bible to have in your library, its amazing how our current scriptures match up so close after all these years.

the 1611 King James Version translators validates the Septuagint and its existence prior to the MT, you will find it spoken about in the 1611 KJV facsimile bible in the "To The Reader" section.
