Love this content. Been studying Hebrews lately and all the psalms quoted there. The notes in the SBL observe that the Father and the Son speak to each other in the letter to Hebrews using the psalms, and at the end of the letter we Christians are invited to speak to God in psalms, and so there is a tradition of LXX Psalms as the proper prayer language to praise God, so those people who would unhitch us from the OT don’t understand how the NT is dependent on the OT.

These differences affect nothing at all unless of course you use them to elevate, accept Septuagint over the Traditional text line, and that is by default you are elevating/accepting Vatican/RCC's text as genuine. This text, that is the Vatican's has more than a few, a lot actually of differences that affect sound doctrine.

What is remarkable is how biblical evidence has been uncovered thousands of years later. It is like somebody is trying to make sure that the truth is out there if somebody is willing to make the effort. So later on excuses of ignorance will be rather suspect!!!

Another wonderful video! It's incredible how many people over the centuries have fallen for the fallacious reasoning that "the Masoretic Text is in Hebrew, therefore, it's the original Hebrew". Thank God for the Dead Sea Scrolls vindicating the countless Christians who have trusted their souls to the Septuagint.

I believe the cubits referenced are royal cubits? When compared or retranslated, they are the same. I wish I could quote that source but I currently can’t. Like Noah’s Ark and Moses’ Egyptian upbringing: these Hebrew units had some Egyptian influence, at times. Goliath was definitely closer to 9ft.

Excellent video. I appreciate you taking the time to cover such an important yet relatively unknown phenomenon. I wonder if you might also talk about some of the examples where the Dead Sea Scrolls agree with the Masoretic Text against the Septuagint as quoted in the NT. Acts 15 quote of Amos 9 is one example that comes to mind. Hebrews 10 quote of Psalm 40 might be another. I'm not sure how many examples there are, but surely there are even more. Keep up the good work!
