USAA review: "Had a pipe break due to a power outage which flooded our home. All of this was covered by our USAA insurance, but USAA is trying to ignore us here. USAA has been our insurance company for over 45 years. Their people stole things from our home, damaged most everything and now they won't pay the rest of the claim and won't answer our calls. Their people were horrible and they wouldn't even send out an adjuster to our home..."

Quite honestly, we need to start a class action law suit. There are many of us going through similar circumstances.

In Texas you can sue them in small claims court for $160 for up to $20000!! Everyone needs to constantly Sue!!! SUE SUE SUE. It needs to happen, there must be repercussions!!

Yep. They suck. We will leave as soon as our ordeal is done. We will take our auto, home, and life, elsewhere.

Thank you for this video, I'm retired Navy and have banked with USAA for 12 years now, on the advice of a friend while I was still active. USAA isn't even listed as one of the best rated banks in the nation, they didn't even make the listing, I wasn't surprised at all.

I'm currently without a car. It's been a week since it was fixed USAA gave me a terribly low ball estimate. I told them it was a terrible low ball estimate. They told me as soon as the car was fixed they will give money for the rest. They are paying for a rental. I've refused to pay out of pocket until they pay their share. Nobody calls me. Nobody answers the phone.

I was driving in my sister's funeral procession on the way from the funeral home to the grave yard to bury her, going through an intersection with a police escort and headlights and flashers on as required by law in Louisiana, while going through the intersection a car came into the intersection I tried stopping to avoid collision, the law in Louisiana states that all vehicles must give right of way to the procession until the procession is all through the intersection regardless of the light color...even with there being a law the rules of the road they are still denying responsibility and claiming me to be the at fault driver...it's been 4 months now still haven't gotten a rental car no ones assessed the damage on my truck nothing I'm having to sue them

My husband told me about USAA bank. I had no problem with them until I moved. USAA has been a pain since I started traveling and since my card got compromised; they treat me like a criminal. They cut my card off without me knowing, I had to call them instead of them calling me ahead of time to notify me. Had to wait two business days to pay my bills when the new card arrived. I also had an issue with them sending a replacement check (I had a check written out to me from them that expired) after a month of fighting with them I finally got the replacement check. I took that check and switched to another bank and cleaned all of my money out of USAA yesterday. The automated phone system is a total nightmare. I moved to a local bank that has branches in every city in Missouri. I am very sorry that this happened to you. USAA is basically a greedy, internet based currency reserve. Not sure how they "service" 13 Million members nationwide and only 33 "banks" in the United States, where they are mostly in Texas or hundreds of miles apart.

I was doing research to see if I was going to become a member. After seeing your video my search has come to a screeching halt. I am running the other direction. I am so sorry you guys have suffered so much with them. Thank you so much for sharing this video.

Never do business with this company. Mom died in April. Dad is in hospice with memory issues. Unfortunatley, before these events USAA was set up with auto bill from a credit card. After 5 calls and several hours on the phone with USAA, they refuse to cancel auto insurance or renter’s insurance that my parents have. Even though they my parents no longer live in the apartment or own the car. Disgraceful and shame on you USAA. It appears that the only way you can be stopped from preying on my parents is to cancel their credit card. I can’t even begin to describe how frustrating this has been? This is not rocket science. Simply cancel insurance that is for (1) a dead person and(2) a person in hospice with memory issues. Please do not do business with this company.

I’m right there with you. Usaa takes advantage of this countries bravest. I will never bank with usaa again. Terrible customer service, terrible banking practices and they will take your last dollar if they could.

You have to realize that the days of customer service and the customer being right and companies doing right by the customer those days are gone what you have now is retaliation. And that's what you experienced. I experience it with nearly every company that I deal with. From Banks to insurance companies the phone companies basically everyone. This is the country we live in now. Tenure as a customer means nothing because loyalty means nothing. Loyalty means nothing because it has nothing to do with shareholder satisfaction or the bottom line. EVERY CORPORATION DOES THIS NOW. WHAT DO YOU THINK COVID WAS ALL ABOUT? A VIRUS?! TIME TO WAKE UP!

I've been with USAA well over 20 years, have not had an accident in over 20 years. Some lady bumped our car, (her fault) now USAA won't even answer the phone or return phone calls. I've been handing them money hand over fist for almost 30 years and wont even do what they are legally required to do let alone answer the phone..

I been with USAA for 13 years and only have a checking, savings and credit card. I have been happy so far with them, until recently when I looked at savings APY. I assumed since they are an online bank they would have pretty good APY but it's about as low as it gets. I did some research and found Citi bank that has amazing APY. After hearing this video I will soon be leaving USAA. You both deserve so much better I'm so sorry

My 16 yd old daughter was a passenger in a car when it was hit head on! She suffered a punctured lung and a mangled hand. USAA made us go to mediation where I had to listen to the USAA lawyer say my daughter wouldn’t amount to anything and fought paying for her surgery! I told them she had a future and needed payment for future therapy. I was livid to go through that! Guess what? My daughter is the CEO of a business she started! Go to hell USAA after 45 years as a customer never again…

Just called them hour ago for car insurance, wasted my time no savings. More cost than what I have. But I got thank you for your service. Vets stand up to the fake lip service.
