It amazes me that someone in a modern car with a back window, 3 mirrors, and at least one backup camera can still manage to back into a mailbox.

I had a guy come from an hour away and leave work early to buy a set of wheels with 3 bald tires. I texted him confirming that he read the description and knew the tires were bald. He said yes. When he arrived he flipped out because the tires were bald.

This is because nobody actually uses their own eyes when they are backing up anymore. Everyone stares at their backup camera or just blindly trusts their sensors. Drives me crazy. Just turn your head and look in the direction you're traveling!

Facebook marketplace rule #1, always meet in public places during daylight. You just never know who you are dealing with. A lot of shady people out there.

Everyone saying "dont meet at your house have obviously never sold on marketplace. People ghost you all the time, show up an hour late, etc. They can come to my house, where every corner is covered in 4k cameras and i can sit on my couch watching tv rather than sitting in the car an hour for someone to no show
