This is a great example of when a dog trainer can’t condition equipment properly....so they blame the equipment.
I do not have these issues. My dog heels perfectly on retractable.
Train a release cue, let your dog out, tap botton means recall, transition line tap to verbal fade Flexi.
Used properly you can rep out recalls and release cues and off leash commands.
