How To Fix A Retractable Dog Leash

In this video, I repair a broken Doggo retracting dog leash that had stopped retracting. Sometimes it's a matter of a spring that popped out of its spring perch, but in this case, the end of the spring broke off. In order to repair the spring without purchasing a new one, I simply reformed or bent the end of the spring to mimic the configuration of the original spring.

Very helpful--especially the winding direction. The spring on my leash didn't break, but the end of it had bent and popped out of the little groove it's supposed to be in. Got it fixed and working again.
