It's nice how ATX compliant that old case was with modern parts. I love that the front drives were all mismatched colors. It really added to the sleeper theme.

People often say old computer cases are dull and ugly but I like them, their design is simple and serious . I still use a Gigabyte aurora 570 case, a big and solid model released in 2007. I will keep it even if I update my rig and it will become a sleeper PC.

*Healthy Criticism* you should cut out a hole in the sheet metal behind the front io panel to get more air flow to the radiator

Drill the bottom of the case to put 2x 120mm case fans, insufficient airflow will make really overheating...

I would definitely add some 120 mm fans on top of the case for airflow, meaning cutting some holes.

the radiator should be mounted above the cpu, not below I guess

You should add Noctua 40mm or 60mm exhaust fans in the unused pcie slots, this PC is gonna need all the exhaust it can get.

Also some said to cut a hole in the metal where the radiator is - I agree, should really help without losing the aesthetic (keeping the plastic of the front panel untouched)

I just built one up in a Compaq Presario 7470 computer, you have way more space in that case that I ever have in the Presario thou, great built...

If I were you I'd see if I could put some slightly taller feet on it and cut some holes in the bottom for a pair of 140mm or 120mm intake fans (need filters ofc) for more air intake and to create positive pressure inside to help keep dust out. Love sleepers though for sure!

My sleeper even has optical drives and floppy connected 😁 and works. The floppy is attached to the internal USB header with an adapter.

that AIO orientation where the pump is higher than the radiator will cause air bubbles to form in the pump which is bad for your CPU
