I Built the Ultimate Sleeper PC

We saved this windows 98 PC from being e waste and transformed it internally into a modern day powerhouse. all while retaining its exterior charm. the perfect sleeper.

What makes it ultimate? a 24 core processor, RTX4090 and EK custom watercooling.

A pentium 2 300mhz Tiny PC was my first windows based PC in 1996. Served me will, learnt how to upgrade with it, then moved on to custom build route when it needed replacing. Good memories. When I saw the thumbnail I had to watch this video :D

I absolutely love this ! I have an original Alienware aurora R1. Intel i7 930, just upgraded to 24 gb ddr3 1333 g skill aegis ram, Radeon hd 5770. It still runs most games i through at it pretty good(all pre 2014 lol) but I may take a gamble and throw a gtx 1070ti at it and see if I get any performance boost, but moral of my rant it that once the computer is bricked and un-fixable( hopefully in many more years) I am thinking of making a sleeper out of it! I just love the computer too much to rip the internals out of it. It’s a retro tank as of rn.

Should have used the Chieftec Antec Dragon ATX Case old school and I love it still use it today with a few updates like rear cable management etc
