Austin. I literally cried when I saw that PC. I had the 2000 year model and it was my first PC. I took it apart a thousand times and its where I found my love of technology. This hit me hard !

It’s fun to see these “reviews” done in an entertaining way instead of feeling pointless being hard to get. Sweet build guys.

Austin's second home (Microcenter) is back once again.

Microcenter is like Austin’s sugar daddy w/ the amount of free stuff they have given him

You know how in Pyongyang they have one store with packed shelves and happy smiling customers, and that's the ONE STORE the foreign press are allowed to see? I get the same vibes from that Micro Centre.

“There’s a shortage of pc parts”
Techtubers: “we’ve got this new part that it’s impossible to find at retail price”

I bought a new old stock case from the late 90s and it's unironically been my favorite case ever to build in. It has surprisingly good airflow for the era, my only gripe is that I had to spray paint my blue ray drive beige to match.

I love Austin. I’ve seen him grow so much since his house burned down!

I'd like to see this pc be expanded a bit. Drill (hidden) holes for airflow, smaller cpu fan, actual standoffs, Etc.

I actually just did something similar. I have a Ryzen 3600 on an MSI B550M mobo using my PSU as exhaust too all in an old Dell Dimension 4600 case. I was able to remove the front hard drive caddy and put a 120mm AIO as intake and CPU cooling. For extra cooling, what I did is use a rotary tool to cut two large holes in the bottom and have two 120 mm intake fans. You'll lose the bottom PCIe slot, but it works. Now I'm just waiting to get a EVGA 3060ti XC since it's one of the only ones that'll fit in my build.

Give a raise to your editor, the montages are completely fire!

I've built multiple PCs for my friends and myself using old cases like that. Dell Optiplexes are my favorite.

The editors had a lot of fun with the music, love it

Cut a whole in the bottom of the case near the front and add an intake fan, there appears to be enough clearance under the case to allow air flow.

My cousin played WoW for years on one of these... to the point that it caught on fire! He never cleaned it of course and then gave it to me after it was literally fried... I gutted it and still have the case. I put my old Phenom 2 parts from my 2011 build into it with x2 R7 370s in crossfire mode into it for fun lol

Might as well move in. But the old builds like this are amazing. I literally have that Compaq in my garage wow.
