Ingredients:
6 tbsp coconut flour
1.5 tbsp of almond flour
3 tsp of xanthan gum
1/2 tsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp garlic powder
7-8 tbsp. of hot water

Carb Breakdown of ingredients:
Coconut Flour: 1 tbsp has approximately 4.5g of carbs and 3g of fiber.
Almond Flour: 1 tbsp has approximately 2.5g of carbs and 1.5g of fiber.
Xanthan Gum:1 tsp has approximately 1g of carbs and 1g of fiber (effectively zero net carbs since it's all fiber).
Nutritional Yeast: 1/2 tsp is a very small amount, so its contribution to carbs will be minimal, generally less than 1g.
Garlic Powder: 1/2 tsp contains approximately 1g of carbs and a negligible amount of fiber.
For the ingredients in your recipe, the total carbohydrates amount to 34.5 grams, and the net carbs (total carbs minus fiber) come to 11.25 grams.

Thanks for the video. Suggestion: try grinding your salt in the coffee grinder into powder form. This salt will stick to the chips really well. Or stick to anything else you sprinkle salt on. Have a blessed day! 🤗

you might try "corn extract" to make a tortilla chip. i've used it with good results in almond-flour based cornbread, can't see why it wouldn't work here too.

I have already tried this with the cottage cheese chips and it's pretty good. And I use Redmond's real salt over the top

Nice tribute in an in the back door way to Bob of Bob's Red Mill- he just recently ( sometime in March) passed away!
Anywho, will have to try your chips- I always have mashed potato extract on hand- I use it to make fauxtato cheddar pierogis... thanks for sharing the chips! 💚

❤ it!! Potato extract is what I will try with cottage cheese chips and this recipe. I like the idea of instant potatoes but think the extract would be better - and likely last longer in my pantry.

I bought the flavor drops a couple years ago especially for cornbread & baked potato I'll have to dig the out. Glad I zip locked baged them. You are right about the smell.😊😅

I love watching you guys. It is so wonderful that you game to try it all. Keep up the great content. . .So, if you are looking for content ideas, I would love for you to pull out some or your older recipe videos and do updates on them. Today you said that you thought another couple of drops of flavoring would be good. Once you try it, I would love you to update us. Maybe once a quarter you could update on that quarters recipes. You don't have to remake the recipe, unless there is a major technique change that needs demonstration. You have done some updates on things, but often the suggestions you mention at the end don't ever get mentioned again. Just a thought. Thanks for trying it all so we can learn from you!❤
