I have been snacking on HILO life for over a year. THEM! I can't live without them. :)

I prefer The Atkins chips to the Quest ones, my local supermarket (in New Hampshire) has them for $2 a bag. They sell the Nacho and ranch flavors which both taste fine.

It IS helpful, especially due to the prices. I appreciate the video Steve & Terry 😀

Thank you Steve! It’s true, I especially now, am leery spending so much on keto products! So often they disappoint! It helps to hear someone else’s opinion! It helps too when someone non keto gives their opinion! Thanks Terri 😊❤

I don’t know what it is about those Hi-lo chips. I love those things. I hear (and read) a lot comments and reviews saying that they have no flavor but so far I like the flavor more than any other brand.

Also, I kind of gave up on quest chips. I never liked the texture, mouth feel or delivery mechanism ability.

I haven’t heard of beyond chips until now. I’ll have to give them a try. Thanks for introducing me to a new (possible) option.

I love the Hilo chips for texture and taste.

Interesting. I find the texture of the Quest chips gritty and non-chip like. I prefer the Hi Lo Life. But I eat these as-is. If I want to dip, I much prefer to make your panhead tortillas that I cut into triangles and dehydrate. That is better than any store bought that I have found out there. Yes.... these reviews help. Often times, it's how I learn about what products are even available. Thanks Steve and Terry.

Thanks for the review! And I appreciate the additional opinions of your non-Keto family, which is a bonus. 😊

I like that, your wife and a non-keto perspective. I also like in one of your other videos you did a blind test test to see if that changed the mind about preference.

Thanks for the video. I like to buy things on sale to try them. That's what I did with Hilo not long ago, right after you reviewed them. Just picked up a few bags of the Quest chips the other day, and they went well with my burger.

Love all your videos, Steve, because you are non biased, no matter what.
I also love that you are incorporating your family into your videos, especially Colton!!

Always helpful ! Ty and Terry for the "showdown". Having tried Quest and Hilo, I mostly agree w / you guys on both counts (probably wouldn't buy Hilo again ...even on sale tho)

I haven't tried Quest, have never seen the Beyond Chipz, but I have had Hilo. I like them, but have nothing Keto friendly to compare them to.
I have used them with hot queso, guac & salsas. They definitely get soggy fairly quickly. I've baked them with cheese (okay), but never nuked them.

For me, the Hilo chips have the advantage of being sold at Costco, knocking down the overall 'investment' per serving (& possibly expectations).

I actually really like the HiLo chips. I’ve purchased the taco flavor and the nacho and they work well for a plate of nachos with ground beef, guac, cheese, salsa and sr cream on them. Also eat them out of the bag when I want a crunchy chip. I did not like the quest. To me they taste like their powder in chip form. Thank you both for the review!

Steve, your recipes are so much better than these over priced commercial things. When we want nachos we make your tortillas, fry them up, then make a supper of them with all the Keto friendly stuff we like. I save this for an OMAD day, and don’t count the carbs, have what I want. The only problem is the price of avocado oil now to fry with.

I appreciate you take on these foods--as someone who lives in a very rural area and has to order these items online, it's nice to see your review and know whether or not I want to take a chance on it. Thanks so much!

I love the Beyond plain or salty variety. They have the best texture. Alone there is a very slight vegetable type flavor. But with salsa, or cheese sauce on them, it is an awesome chip substitute

Never had beyond chips either. Hilo and quest are decent but we like quest more too. Never tried nachos with them though. Thanks for posting.

I use quest chips for nachos but I've never microwaved them. I put them in the toaster oven for 5 minutes. They turn out crispy, even if I top them with a little seasoned burger meat. I only use 1/2 a bag and arrange them on parchment so that they're not overlapping. It's definitely my "Mexican food craving" go-to. Thanks for your review.
