I made these using a silicone cupcake baking tray, I put a spoonful in each hole, and they made perfect round chips that popped out easily when cooled.

I blended the cottage cheese and seasonings in a small blender. Put it in a zip lock baggie, cut the corner and piped it into circles on the parchment paper. Worked great!

Update. I used a blender and combined the cottage cheese with salt pepper and a bit of nutritional yeast. They turned out good with a cheesy flavor.

After watching this video on these chips I did some testing on my own. If you use large curd which has less water they turn out better. There is no difference between large or small curd when it comes to carbs and cholesterol. Also... I mixed in, garlic powder, hot pepper, paprika. I then took 2 table spoons full of the mixture and spread it on a parchment covered plate to microwave. I started at 2 minutes on high... then I add another layer of the cottage cheese mix to the top of the first layer... and put back into the microwave for another 1. After the first layer... you should just go one minute at a time until you reach the crispness you desire. The more layers you add... they become like a cracker. Each layer isn't cooked completely before adding the next... it's still raw, and that is ok. I make one big circle and break it up into the pieces I want. Adding a little cumin and using for nachos, or dipping... is FANTASTIC!

For a recipe like this, you need one of those round silicone mats for your microwave. Peeling is a snap! And no wasting parchment paper.

Who in their right mind ever thought of even microwaving cottage cheese?! 😂 I can't wait to try these!

Hi keto twins! I thought I'd share my experience making the chips. My 1st batch was too thick and didn't work out at all. I thought what would happen if I pulsed it into a cream. I spread thin layers and microwaved per your instructions and every chip turned out and was consistently crisp and in chip shape. I seasoning prior to cooking. They came right off the paper.
I used Walmart Great value 4% small curd. Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a chip fanatic and these were a great substitute.
I love your videos! You both are the best!

I made these using Aldi's cottage cheese. I cut parchment to fit the size of my microwave plate and placed 4 tsp dollops on it (towards the edge). Then I microwaved them for 2:30 at full power. The key is to let them rest before peeling them from the parchment. While one batch rested I microwaved another. They came out great!

New observations. I made them again today. I put normal cottage cheese in the Bullet to smooth it out with added seasoning. I took someone's suggestion on this page and cut my silicone pad to fit my microwave, great suggestion btw. I placed the chip rounds on the pad in a wreath shape, keeping the center open. Did the 5 minutes 50%, the took it out as it was light browning and took it off of the pad and cooled it onto a cookie rack. Started a second batch on the pad, took them off to cool then .. I put the first batch in the microwave again to darken them and like the double fried fries, it crisped them up perfectly. 3 minutes 50%. But don't leave the area, listen to the crackles and keep checking in on the chips. Delicious. I out the left overs in the fridge, two days later, still crispy. Thanks for the suggestions. I can pick up the seasoning flavours at the Kernels popcorn booth at the Mall. Keep inspiring.

I just tried making these in my nonstick ceramic pan. Here's a tip in case you guys want to try them in a pan instead of the microwave. Lightly grease your pan before starting. It really makes a difference, and they peel up just like in the original video. They were absolutely delicious! Thank you, ladies, for making the recreation fun to watch.

This was a "had to try it" moment. I use the small curd cottage cheese with additives. I smashed the curds with a fork until creamier. With two teaspoons made a ball and placed them on parchment, put into microwave at power level 6 for 4 minutes. Needed more power... 2 minutes more on full power did the deed. Sprinkled with Ranch seasoning and... OMG!
So happy now I can have chips with my tuna sandwich ! ~ : )

Cottage cheese chips solved my craving for CRUNCH! I used walmart's full fat cottage cheese, and pork panko crumbs, along with flavor seasonings ( onion, garlic, dill, and healthy hidden valley ranch dry seasoning. - it took some experimenting with microwave timing. Also, I followed your idea to use my microwave plate (drew a circle around the plate with my silicone mat underneath) and cut it into a circle to fit the plate perfectly - Using the silicone worked even better than the baking paper.

Tried this and it is delicious. Did away with making it into little circles and heaped it up in centre, it spreads out into a flat to break up easily when cooked. Also tried Crumbled Fetta which is salty and a different texture with less carbs. Piled in centre of paper it cooks to a flat in about 3 mins. Yum

All I could get was large curd, 11:36 in the store brand that had additives, so I blended till smooth, they took forever to cook but totally worth the wait. I shook them with some powdered cheddar cheese I had and was thrilled with the results. These are going to become great road food snacks. I shook mine in the cheddar right out of the microwave tapped them off and they didn’t dump cheese on me at all. Thanks so much for all your hard work, you two are my favorite keto YouTubers.
