I had been doing it like the girl for a long time. Scheduled a visit with a personal trainer, and he told me I should slide the bar along my legs, not forward. He also helped me perfect the techniques for the main compound lifts (RDL, deadlift, bench press, squat, military press, dips) in just one hour. Well worth the money, it's always good to ask somebody to watch how you lift.

Plain shoes also work way better than running shoes when doing that kind of movement.

It's a hinged movement. Bend knees slightly and keep pushing your butt back. Good video

The shoes were also obviously promoting terrible form, that toe spring is atrocious and I’m sure the toe box is narrow and there is artificial arch support in there as well.

It was pretty good, but instead of RDL he performed SLDL. In RDL you let the knees go forward because it's a back accessory for cleans. And you don't straighten vertically and let the tension off the back.

The toe lifting happens with my good morning but I don't have that issue with my RDLs why I do have issues with my RT hip I recently had surgery and had a spinal stimulator and battery. Battery 🔋 was placed on my RT hip

My tip is to wear flat sole shoes or skate shoes for lifting. Thank me later.

It's also because his shoes are curving so much on their own. I deliberately use barefoot shoes for training because my gym doesnt allow me to train barefoot
