You want to manually backup your Elden Ring save files on PC, so you can test somme different builds in PVP? Or maybe you just wanna see what happens if you kill all the NPCs in Elden Ring without messing up your progression?

Well let me show you how to easily backup your save files, copy them using a third-party tool and also touch on the benefits and risks of downloading pre-made mule character save files.

I didn't get half of what you're saying, and now I'm afraid that I will mess something up if I follow with you.
One time you say copy the the "sl2" and another time you say save the file and cloud, and then you say delete this and then you delete that while rushing back and forth between the pages and file, making it very hard to understand which I'm supposed to save or delete. 🙁

Hey mate I had two different saves. One is level 216 and one is legel 7 but today when I started the level 7 build and than quit my level 216 save is gone. What can I do?

Is it safe to have messages on duplicated characters? I’ve heard that if you dupe a character that has messages the game will have an issue with it, can anyone confirm?

I'm not sure why but my Elden Ring game folder looks nothing like this. I downloaded the game from steam.

It has an, Easy Anti Cheat folder, movie folder, and an sd folder, followed by plenty application extention files and BHD files. Just downloaded the game today and it boots fine. Not sure how to back up the game at this point at all

can you get banned if you have two of the same files in the game and modifying one of them (basically just playing the duplicated save file like its another day online)
