I'm here after loosing my DLC file. 20 hours in my first play through and my game crashed, corrupted my file. Already had 50 in before the DLC. After the initial shock and anger, I'm good, now I'm just making sure to back my files up. Lesson learned.

Very helpful video. Question: does the .sl2 file you are copying and pasting include all of my different characters save files in game? For context I have about 5 or 6 different save files with different builds, am I able to just make a copy of one of the builds or does the .sl2 file include all of those builds?

So, just making sure cuz it glitched and i lost my 400+ hour elden ring save and had to search for a fix. I made the folder, thenlike if im done playing, i press quit to menu, then i out the file copying it into the backup? everytime i quit to menu? So i keep it right
