I found installing GNU/Linux fixed it 14 years ago

i never understood why the event manager in windows is always filled to the brim with warnings and errors that are actually "normal"... why doesn't microsoft use other categories for those (idk, maybe sth like "false positive"?)

Very helpful. Turned out to be DAX3API error. I just deleted it from my computer and its working now

The quickest fix is to just give up, smash the keyboard and start a clean install from scratch. Works everytime

Man, thanks a bunch, been breaking my head over this for months now on my Lenovo Laptop. The Lenovo customer care didn't help me much, but hopefully, with this, I can avail some solution to my BSODs.

The last BSOD i had was about 3 years ago when i put in a USB Bluetooth module. Otherwise I can't remember the last time before that was.

I wish I had known of the tool about half a year ago when an update broke something. Till this day I have no idea what fixed the BSOD.

Such a good video, when ever I got bsod I think it probably some software that I installed then I see how frequently bsod is happening if it was happening Al least 2 times a day then I just format the whole system and reinstall windows

Thanks to you now I know at least what to look for where to look for again thank Chris this is so helpful.

I went over to Linux 10 years ago and that's cured my blue screen and malware.

You talk about if one is still able to get into Windows 10 after the Blue screen. But what happened to me just a couple of days ago that I was not even able to enter Windows 10 anymore after the Blue screen Error message appeared, after many reboots, it was not able to fix the Error, so the only solution was to put in the Windows Recovery DVD boot from there and setting up the computer new.

Also a good stop is the "View reliability history" in the control panel. Likewise in case of a blue screen it will not show what really cause it, but is more human friendly than the event viewer and rare cases more informative. Give it a shot. If that does not help then try install linux :)

I have a triple boot, Mint, Ubuntu and Winblows 7. When I boot Win 7 I always have the BSOD. How do I get into Win 7 to fix this problem?

If Window$ boots by itself after BSOD and you can use it to access event logs it is not all that scary. A video about restoring it to bootable state (apart from restoring known-good system disk image) would be much more interesting.

Thanks for the video Chris! Whocrashed definitely looks cool!!! Funny enough I haven't had a BSOD since February 2021 - I followed your advice on setting up the Windows Update and only take critical security fixes 3 days after their release. No new feature updates for me. Fingers crossed I hope I haven't jinxed myself by blurting this out here haha. Keep the videos coming!
