I used to love tyson and i agreed with him.
Then, when i was heading to destruction by drug abuse i cried out to the God i didn't believe in and He answered my call.
I was not in church. I was not preached to.
I know now God was always watching over me as He allowed my decline and my pride to come crashing down until He finally had me right where He wanted me all along.
And now I am blessed beyond anything I ever asked or imagined.
The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. ( anything other than to give Him glory)

I never lost my believe in God. Even when the devil literally had his claws on me. And my life was a hell! I never blame God or Jesus or The Holy Spirit! And I will never lose my faith in The Holy Trinity! NEVER! Even when I don't understand why i am suffering so much. I ask God why.. but one day we will understand. 🕊❤🙏

The Bible directs us to call God “Father.” Thus, I have found that a LOT of spiritual insight and understanding comes from the Parent and Child relationship. To answer the first question posed in the video to Neil DeGrasse Tyson, think of a parent that has done everything to give their child the best, but that child rebelled. The rebel child is now an adult and as such can make all their own choices (all choices have results). As a parent, you want them to make good choices but you cannot forced them to do so. You can be there for them when they call on you (like God is), but you cannot make them call on you. Rebel children are greatly autonomous just like as sinners we are autonomous from God, the Father (in certain ways). A parent greatly loves their children and will Go to great extremes to save them from harm… God went to the most extreme to save us, His Children, by sending Jesus to die for us while we were yet sinners. The Parent children relationship offers a lot of spiritual insights and understanding.

(Edit: I didn't come up with this answer to the question, it was given to me from another believer.) "why does God allow suffering?" But here is the answer that I have. God had to allow suffering in our sin fallen world because if he didn't everyone would be overrun with pride. Suffering humbled a proud heart. It's not the only reason I'm sure but it's a good way to look at it. We would be unsavable otherwise.

Like many of us.. ive ben going through some tough tough trials. So much so ..that i was pretty sure i was gonna end my self last year.. when i was approached by a random woman and she told me, "god does love you, and he wants you to put him first, and everything will be ok". How could she possibly have known i was gonna end my life. There is a God. And he loves his children. Like a real father would. 💯❤

Neil said: "If there is a God, God is neither all powerful or not all good. How do you deal with that?" The answer is quite simple, God is so All Powerful that He was able to create something that was completely disconnected and unrelated to Him and His nature of All Goodness. This creation was called "evil" which exists completely outside of Himself (an impossible concept to materialize because it's spiritual), and God gave "free will" to His creations to choose either God and His love, or the absence of Him called "evil". Evil serves a purpose or teaching which comes in the form of discipline, which is actually quite loving. Evil (God's discipline) allows for us to see the real truth of His "laws" and of everything in it's proper place (much like science has laws). For example, His laws are that God is above, then His creations come next, and then the absence of God, "evil" is last, a place of void. When we accept the laws of God, and see truth as it is - everything in it's proper place and that God is here with us, we can actually be at peace (a promise of God). God was, God is, and God will forever be. God is the answer.
